Custom Tshirt III: Owl portal
Did I already wrote a post how I love tshirts? Maybe even 2 or 3 – don’t even remember. As you noticed from time to time I’m “baking” new tshirt designs and posting semi-tutorials with photos, instruction how why and what to do to create tshirts by yourself.
This one goes in the same concept, but all I wanted to add is a technique your mom (my mom) told me to mark the shirt area for further drawing without leaving any stains. Plus a video of how it was done, just for you, my readers, to enjoy and have a broader view towards what I’m doing.
Steps are totally the same as explained in previous tutorial post (Custom tshirt).
When I was a little kid and really liked to rip apart my brand new jeans and sew them in totally awkward manner my mom once told me to you a marker or better a piece of soap. Yes, soap, not rocket science at all, but for marking cloth (doesn’t matter if dark or light) it never leaves traces.
Therefore instead of using a water-colour pencil (which most of the time leaves not washable traces and goes through all cloth layers) you can use sharp piece freshly cut from soap bar, try that.
Moreover as promised here’s a video on how it was done:
P.S. This post has a second part but for that you will have to wait a little bit.

This blog is a pure example of how random digital and real lifes can be: amazing fusion between them is what inspires me. Combining semi-personal reviews with general creativity, inspiration and a bit of procrastination I am trying to publish something interesting for a random person, no matter who she or he is.
