Blindness

“There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend who was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, ‘If I could only see the World, I will marry you.’

One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend.

He asked her, ‘Now that you can see the world, will you marry Me?’ The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind.

The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn’t expected that, and the thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.

Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her that said:

‘Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.’ “

Observation: Rise above the physical beauty as it shall not last. What is within is forever young, joyfull and bliss.

After getting to read this story I’ve been carrying it in my heart for a few weeks, it wouldn’t leave me. For reasons unknown. It’s not that it’s a very exceptional story, especially if you’re familiar with P.Coelho and similiar works. Nevertheless it’s a powerful and beautiful story that draws a strong visual image in your head and, well, locks you in! :)
I’m glad to share it with you.

English please, statistics shows, that only 20% of this blog readers are from Lithuania, it’s never cool to be ignorant especially. In this case your ignorance brings threshold to other nationalities people to join the blog/post and comment your own posts. Thank you.

sorry luvs but I think that statistics are lying, firstly taking into account the fact that I haven’t been to Lithuania from the times the first version of this blog didn’t even exist! hahah but I do speak Lithuanian just sadly hardly ever get a chance to speak it…
don’t get me wrong, but it is freedom to speak whichever language you choose. this blog is quite multicultural so let’s keep it that way :) let my broccoli florets flourish freeeely :) ) hehe

Language (is not a culture itself) is just an artifact for a culture, so to keep the best multicultural environment the thing that all of the people around shares works as the only possibility to unite different cultures.

Freedom of speech in this case sounds absurd, because you are forgetting the fact that someone is just not understanding and skipping what you’re saying, so that free speech should be better kept inside you if you don’t want to share.

but again, you are forgetting that when writing, you don’t write to be understood. you are not writing for someone in particular. you’re just BLOGGING whatever you want to blog. {it’s not journalism or emailing!!} it’s sharing despite which language is used. for in the end every single one of us is different.. and unique.
    heh :D

In that case your writing doesn’t go anywhere if there is no target/recipient, therefore it equals to pointless.

So why then? To self-indulge? In that case this blog has option to post it as “Private” and not “Public” (to the people).

One of the starting roots for this blog was to share anything, and sharing is always between sender and receiver. This will be always the essence.

aghrr, it’s so pointless to argue about this! just to pint point one thing out for you, in case you haven’t noticed, I do write in English here, for the most part.
there’s always a target and recipient, just so often you are unaware of them.. anyways, I don’t need to be educated about it, next year I’m going to uni for that! lol [international relations&journalism]
