Please take a seat, Actionscript
Few hours spent fighting verbally with the machine. Machine which understands the epic coding language – Action script. Like a dragon, which is hard to kill, but whenever you find a solution you feel solitude and pure euphoria.
I was developing one webcam based actionscript application last night, which should empower one school project’s communication platform whilst touching experience economy theories and storytelling.
Beta version of the prototype is available to test here: cloud.partyofdreamers.com
(Note: Mac users should play with flash webcam settings and chose the right cam for app. to work)
Probably the most stressful IT dragon to fight so far, therefore that’s why this thing grinds my gears.
But the funny thing is how one tests a webcam based application during the developing process. A Fact is that when you develop such kind of application with various scenes and reactions (e.g. if I press that button, action X will happen… – typical conditional template of every single programming language) you get tired of taking a photo of yourself every few minutes, just to test how application reacts to the code and if there are errors.

This blog is a pure example of how random digital and real lifes can be: amazing fusion between them is what inspires me. Combining semi-personal reviews with general creativity, inspiration and a bit of procrastination I am trying to publish something interesting for a random person, no matter who she or he is.
