Tour Des Chambres 2010
Second Tour des Chambres I experienced so far in Denmark, and being more precise in my dormitory’s block #13. If my memory is not too blurry I think there were some posts about this event and tradition in general in this blog.
This time we visited 7 different rooms with 10-12 people in overall (don’t remember) and spent more than 10 hours wondering around. I was testing a camcorder in the night-stance, therefore produced a small documentary video, which should somehow inform you, what Tour des Chambres is about and how it works.
Carpet bros
Recently I found out about a video genre called “web series”, which is based on short (few minutes each) webisodes created specially for online audience, containing weird footage material. There are dramas, cheesy sci-fi, lifestyle with unrelated to each other episodes and really funny, entertaining comedies.
I Wanna Touch Your Carpet.
Born to run
A while ago one of my friends asked me if I’m reading any kind of books. I had to face a fact, that for a while (about a year and a little bit more) I haven’t had any kind of so called “book” in my hands, except those multimedia design and communication materials for studies (books and articles about: programming, overall design, business, communication). Basically everything, what was needed to read in the field I’m professionalizing in.
Recently I found a book, which caught not only my mind senses but also eye with it’s cover. I knew that I have to read, think it felt like seeing a first twilight book for a teenage girl. The book is called: “Born to run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen” and was written by Christopher McDougall. Sounds overwhelming doesn’t it?
Procrastination
Or procrasturbation – call it whatever you want.
“The lizard brain adores a deadline that slips, an item that doesn’t ship and most of all, busywork.” – Seth Godin on Modern procrastination.

(I’ve tried to put an embedded version but apparently embedding doesn’t work for me in this blog. never did lol)
I’m starting to wear colours (a dash of blue and red so now I’m just 96% in black..) and listeting to light but ♥ ♥ ♥ohhh so fragile and sooo beautiful ♥ ♥ ♥ sounds. I don’t know what’s happening but, sadly, I’m not in love. Life is beautiful as it is. Carpe Diem. Carpe Noctem. My soul is flying and I’ve never felt so gothic before. It’s such a beautiful feeling. but hey, what you are waiting for – listen to the song!!!

Custom Tshirt III: Owl portal
Did I already wrote a post how I love tshirts? Maybe even 2 or 3 – don’t even remember. As you noticed from time to time I’m “baking” new tshirt designs and posting semi-tutorials with photos, instruction how why and what to do to create tshirts by yourself.
This one goes in the same concept, but all I wanted to add is a technique your mom (my mom) told me to mark the shirt area for further drawing without leaving any stains. Plus a video of how it was done, just for you, my readers, to enjoy and have a broader view towards what I’m doing.
Stop! Or how to do Urban Skiing
No other words needed:
Where is my mind? or how awesome and crazy is that? – You choose.
She packs | He paints – Inactive
Since Crissy (Special C) is already on her way home to the USA decided to put one evening’s video snapshots together (except Special C’s going away party’s, because we were to tired to take some). In fact this video contains how she was packing and dealing with weight of her luggage and I was making her two new t-shirts, because already booked (decision to exchange pure US-EU jerseys was made earlier
) owl t-shirt was ruined by a laundry machine back in Lithuania :/
Some pictures after a break.
Conceptual 3D modeling
Just before Christmas holiday I was working time by time on few external 3d conceptual modeling projects, which was a good field to try to make a reel about my 3d sculpting/modeling/rendering work-flow and skills.
As stop motion is already became a part of my vision towards video production I’ve tried to experiment a little bit more with it using only screen dumps and few real life snapshots:
