I’m really happy to write about this person. And yes this is it, this is a girl. A girl which is about to move to Korea to teach all those “little Nicklas” (only will make sense for those who lived with us during my early time here in Denmark).

Emily finished her bachelor in Philosophy and is a really good mate, crazy one. Strange and great, but we didn’t had any deep conversations based on philosophy (would be too boring and probably fruitless, because when I was studying it, it never went to something like a conclusion which could be called a result.). Instead this human being is full of, nah not manliness, but indeed full of win and fun. You should hear her jokes or true lifetime stories about random things, life in general or something out of place.

Yes she is a Canadian philosoraptor, not boring at all, but armed with skills in the kitchen, who can teach you how to make home made noodles. It makes sense when being such kind of sensei she is also stubborn as a ninja, who will never give up, never back down. Simple example was when she beat me up during endurance battle in colder than ice rain…
Because of Emily and her maple syrup I’ve learned few lines of the Canadian national anthem, could probably sing it waken up in the middle of the night (have to end up here on how I like Canada).

Have you met her yet? This is another person described in this blog essential to meet. Moreover in my eyes, Emily stands as the best Representative of Canada. Pure craziness.

Internet is full of random madness, which is spread so virally, that it sometimes just doesn’t makes sense. After watching and following few virals, like “epic beard man” also known as the incident in the bus between old white guy and younger black one, I decided to search for some more and collect them into a small list of 10.

There are thousands of them floating around on youtube, vimeo, , I chose these by the date they became/still becoming popular (in spreading way) and trying to differ taking as random things as possible.

Time sweeps past so quickly. You can never properly get a hold of a moment or things in general. It becomes the past the second you realise what kind of feelings you have for it.
London’s so fast-paced. I’ve been living here nearly a year now and still haven’t quite come to terms of liking such fastness. But I do like London, very much. So many things have changed since I’ve landed here on a plane from Reykjavik, all euphoric about working in a vegan restaurant. Since then I’ve changed quite a few jobs and apartments and changed a great deal myself. At the moment both of my jobs are vegan as well and I’ve just started a new relationship, vegan as well. So many things are vegan in my life that sometimes it makes me wonder why jokes about veganism being a ‘religion’ are not funny in the least.

Animals continue to suffer in labs, behind the bars, in ‘organic’ farms and numerous of other locations. This I shall never forget, for this I don’t mind standing the cold in front of fur shops or McDonalds handing out leaflets, holding placards and chanting. “Fur on your back, blood on your hands!”

It’s five in the morning. Sunday. Pretty much the only day in the week that I can get time to sleep. And that’s if I don’t decide to do something more exiting. But no, sleep is exciting in itself, it becomes so precious now that I don’t get too much. Caffeine is never enough.

Anyways, I’ll stop my rambling here, will post soon again! (:

I’ve been very much saddened by what was/is happening at Pogo Cafe. For those of you who never heard of it, it’s one of those things that makes London such an attractive city that it is.

Getting more and more open some of the fashionists are drawing/slicing/copying/pasting themselves with less and less privacy. One more gallery full of different choices and lifestyles, I still see this method as the best for all those “creative ones” (people who does, thinks, memorizes, speaks, shows etc visually) to gather some data. Doesn’t matter if it’s the information about the sample’s attitudes, expectations, goals psychological aspects and reflections in visual way.

anyways… I decided that today, so far, my day was THANKS GOD, not that bad as it could be. Therefore wanna leave it marked:

I never scream – but at that moment probably my psychological effected consciousness was trying to freeze the car with my fresh breath. REMEMBER: Too many commercials effects your brains. They’re not working in the real life.

- eye contacting. A lot. Especially from the distance. For one classmate with whom I never had normal conversation before, eye contacting broke icebergs today. He seems funny and clever guy! and Polish.

- presents! funny, but I got GREEN banana. Will try to observe how much time does it takes to become yummy yellow eatable fruit.

Then Bulgarian Martenitsa – the red/white bracelet with pink flower in the end. The red and white woven threads symbolize the wish for good health. And they expect me to wear it until I will see first blossoming tree or swallow or stork returning from migration. Then this Martenitsa should be hanged on a blossoming tree. Will try

Finally-  milkshake from my awesome awesome neighbour – one Swedish happy hippie. Didnt expect at all this is one of the reasons why my block is great – We are SHARING together almost everything

This time we visited 7 different rooms with 10-12 people in overall (don’t remember) and spent more than 10 hours wondering around. I was testing a camcorder in the night-stance, therefore produced a small documentary video, which should somehow inform you, what Tour des Chambres is about and how it works.

Here comes a new tshirt design, based on the typography and one street art-writings, somewhere in the city I’m living in (check a photo here).

Dorm mate Ilona published it in one of those photo albums (“Århus randomness”) and left a caption, that it would be nice to have a tshirt like that. Knowing my passion for tshirts and  the line, which makes so much sense (at least to me, go go electric!), I felt a must to play with some graphics and bake a final product. It is minimal, precise and as electric as possible.

Recently I found out about a video genre called “web series”, which is based on short (few minutes each) webisodes created specially for online audience, containing weird footage material. There are dramas, cheesy sci-fi, lifestyle with unrelated to each other episodes and really funny, entertaining comedies.

I Wanna Touch Your Carpet.

Sounds funny? It should. If you answered positively this really short webisode masterpiece (1season = 6 episodes = 4-5minutes each) you should spend half hour of your life watching it.

Story is way too random. Imagine the times of 70s, drugs and love all around you and people are singing all those crazy songs about how good is crystal meth for you, also imagine 3 brothers which tries to save family business in their own just a little bit crooked way.

This is it, this is a guy. Looks badass, doesn’t he? But to start who this person is I have to tell a typical story of when girlfriend’s girlfriend’s boyfriend becomes a friend to you works in this case very well. Short story, which developed for a while though. Therefore Meet a friend, a boyfriend, a not so typical danish person (Indonesian knight) – Daniel.

Some random facts about him: a dreamer and currently studying something boring, born for speed, racing and… drinking everything what can be set on fire – so a machine also. Therefore can be called a master and probably the only one who can teach you on how to “reset everything with vodka”. Being more serious, the guy has his own long term goals, which makes him an achiever.

One more thing why he is one of those interesting dudes and dudettes is that Daniel was never linguistically rude. What I mean is that he is always speaking English, even if only minority of people around is international. Therefore if I recapitulate a bit and get back to previous “meet a person” post about Christian I can just add, that the most interesting people are those one can understand.

In fact a best way to describe Daniel is to post this indescribable rainbowish/psychedelic music video(which was shared by him on one social media network), because as a person (as most of us) he and his life concept are too hard to express in words:

Recently I found a book, which caught not only my mind senses but also eye with it’s cover. I knew that I have to read, think it felt like seeing a first twilight book for a teenage girl. The book is called: “Born to run: A Hidden Tribe, Superathletes, and the Greatest Race the World Has Never Seen” and was written by Christopher McDougall. Sounds overwhelming doesn’t it?

Actually it doesn’t matter how epic it might sound, but what lies in this book was really unexpected for me. It contains knowledge of how to do it properly and how it was and still done for centuries by early civilizations. So what was I expecting from it? – hard to tell, but something not that “a new way of running”.  Just started reading, hope it will lift up my expectations and make the time spent worth doing that.

Not really sure if I should recommend this book, but what I can strongly advice is to watch a video of Christopher McDougall speaking honestly and funny at google authors:
