Proud to announce that few days ago a whole bunch of students were “baked” and officially named as multimedia designers.

For the past two years this blog was updated with few project snippets from the past, which there at that time really relevant, so if you are a constant reader or just a visitor should know what’s multimedia design is all about. Honestly I cannot describe it in one phrase or paragraph, because it combines too many things which gives you infinite possibilities to specialize further. Lets just say that it’s communication, visualization, free coding and some business.

In order to summarize the education period even more I decided to blog in a style of FAQ or just answering questions, which might be summoned by anyone.

1. What was the best part during those years of multimedia, madness and experimentalism?

Absolutely the best part was studying and getting knowledge in a field which purely makes one happy and full. Moreover a period of the internship could be marked as one of those fulfilling times (specializing, doing things in creative order and feeling awesome – this is what finishing the education is all about).

2. What was the worst part?

Failing at one project, which never happened before and the fact that there was no time to redo because of the crowded schedules and other plans. On the other hand based on one of the Batman’s ‘ready for action’ tips -  “You only fail when you stop trying”, and we never stopped trying, therefore to catch up with the program was not that hard.

Another bad thing was inconsistency in the studies. For example jumping from one subject to another without really going deep into it, at some point people were left back if they were not studying by their own in the expense of their free time. Despite that officially it could have been twice as long studying period as was now.

3. What about teachers, other students?

Teachers and students – both friends, of course exceptions occur. People around with different background were the best ways for networking and upgrading each others skill sets whilst helping.

4. So what can you do now?

I am happy. That’s more than enough to say that I made correct study choice and am on a path of something would like to do further. Moreover part time job in the field and usage of knowledge gained at school pays off every second of it.

5. What’s next in one’s plans?

Toping-up the knowledge and strong portfolio creation whilst working and studying. Did I mention studies? Oh yes, just because it’s over with a multimedia design and communication doesn’t mean it’s other to get more insights in the field of overall multimedia, therefore after summer I’ll jump into a little bit different and more specific shoes. Updates soon.
